Noel Woodford is the Director of the Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine and the Professor of Forensic Medicine at Monash University. He is a forensic pathologist who trained in Australia and the United Kingdom and also holds a Master’s degree in medical law.
 

Professor Woodford is a Fellow of both the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (for which he is also an examiner) and The Royal College of Pathologists (UK), and a Member of the Faculty of Forensic and Legal Medicine, Royal College of Physicians (UK). He has published on a wide range of forensic pathology topics in peer reviewed journals and has a particular interest in the use of CT scanning in forensic pathology, and sudden and unexpected death in young adults.
